Are Supposed To Prune Raspberry Bushes In The Fall?
There are two types of raspberry, summer bearing and ever bearing. Among the two you can prune the both of them in spring because it has two harvests per season. One however can be pruned in mid-late summer and one in the fall. But for the summer bearing, you can harvest one large harvest in late summer or early fall. Raspberries plants which spread by suckers, like to grow and will spread out far and wide if you let them.
