To build a dry stone wall, calculate the quantity stone you will need. Measure the dimensions of the wall's base, use wooden stakes to mark the corners and link them using strings. Dig appropriate trenches and smoothen their inside and base. Put conerstones with the same width flattest side down and lay base stones in two parallel rows. Fill the gaps between the aggregate stones. Place stones width first before length measuring after each level. Fit capstones on top.
