When To Prune Iris?
The right time to prune the Iris plant is during the autumn season. This can be done by trimming off the leaves so that they are about 6 inches long. Cut back old blossoms to the crown of the plant and cut off any dead or diseased leaves. You should also trim off the rhizomes connected to each of the leaf fans so that they have two or three eyes per plant.
