There are 42 eyes within the deck of cards.
All four Queens' faces are face on, and have two eyes each, which adds up to eight eyes. The King of Diamonds' head is side on so you can only see one eye. The other three Kings are face on so you can see both eyes. The Jacks of Hearts and Spades are side on (one eye each), and Clubs and Diamonds are face on (two eyes each). All picture cards are "mirrored" top and bottom, so if we add up all of these eyes there are 42 in total. More »
