Are Mermaids Real?

Answer

Mermaids have not been proven of their existence due to lack of proper evidence even though there have been many cases where sailors have claimed to have seen mermaids.
Ask.com Answer for: are mermaids real
Mermaids are mythological half human, half aquatic creatures.
According to the National Ocean Service, no evidence for aquatic humanoids has ever been found.
1 Additional Answer
Scientifically, mermaids are not real as scientists argue that a woman with a fish tail is a biological impossibility. A human being is a totally different species of animal from a fish and so it is out of the question that a fish could mate with a woman. The origins of mermaid legends come from Syria around 1000 B.C. where the goddess Atargatis dove into the sea to take the form of a fish.
