Sometimes miscarriage occurs early in pregnancy (soon after conception) and so you may have a period or some bleeding. The embryo would still be microscopic,just a tiny thing, so it would be difficult for you to know that you may have been pregnant and then miscarried. Whenever there is miscarriage, there will be some sort of bleeding, as the body will be discarding the uterine lining.
