A comparator circuit compares two signals. The two signals are compared to see which is greater. A comparator circuit can also determine when one's battery is low. The comparator circuit has predetermined thresholds that are used to alert the user when something goes above or below the threshold. Something on the comparator will light up when something is above or below where it should be. They are easily read and provide valuable information where it is needed.
