By definition, intangible benefits are something that are given or gotten but are not monetary in nature. Intangible benefits occur when an organization, person, or other type of company or group trade favors with another group, company, or person. For example, when a prestigious company or school asks someone to volunteer time and resources in return for recognition. It cannot involve any type of payment, either monetary payment tor payment that might happen by giving someone items or objects. Intangible means something you cannot touch. .
