Molecular pharmacology has to do with medications and drugs. The definition of molecular pharmacology is the study of these drugs. The biochemical and biophysical characteristics of these drugs is studied. In particular the molecular characteristics of them are what is being studied in molecular pharmacology. One would study their structure and their interactions. It is important to understand how drugs work on their molecular level. This study allows one to know how and why the drugs work.
