Heinous crimes in the Philippines are well-known throughout the entire world. Through the Philippine law, there are 46 crimes that are called heinous. Out of these 46 heinous crimes, 21 of them require the death penalty and 25 of them may impose the death penalty, if necessary. Among these crimes include things, such as kidnapping (with or without a ransom), destructive arson that resulted in individual death, and rape that causes individual victim insanity or including homicide.
