How do i record from u-verse dvr to dvd?

Connect the U-Verse to the DVD recorder by plugging the red, green and blue ends on the component cable from the three video OUT jacks on the U-Verse to the matching video IN jacks on the DVD recorder. Hook up the two plugs on the stereo cable to the left and right audio OUT jacks on the U-Verse and plug the other ends into the audio IN jacks, matching the white and red plugs to the jack colours. Load a blank DVD in the DVD recorder's tray and close the tray. Press the Menu button on the U-Verse remote control and scroll to Recorded Programs. Select the desired movie title for burning to DVD and press the Enter button on the remote. Press the Record button on the DVD recorder and when the recording light illuminates, press the Play button on the U-Verse remote control to begin copying the movie to the DVD. Press the Stop button on the DVD recorder when finished, then wait for the disc to finalize on the machine before removing. Finalization prepares the disc for playback on other machines besides the DVD recorder.
