How Do You Say Hello in England?

Answer

Because England is an English-speaking country, you can say hello when greeting someone. You can also say 'ello but this is more of a Cockney dialect greeting than an acceptable way to say hello in most of England. Another way to say hello in England is to say good day or good morning. England is much more class conscious than the United States is, so good day or good morning may be more welcome when addressing someone who is clearly a social superior.
