How Fast Does Ringworm Spread?

Answer

Ringworm is commonly found in young children, but it can affect those of many ages. It is caused by a fungus and not a worm like many may believe. It can spread pretty quickly and easily from one person to the next. You can catch ringworm by just touching someone that has the infection. If you come into contact with any items that have been contaminated by the fungus like that of clothing, shower items, or combs it's best to clean them and yourself.
