How Fast Does the Body Absorb Water?

Answer

The body absorbs water very fast and as soon as water is ingested, the body begins to absorb it. Water and other liquids all go into the stomach, but water does not need to be digested, it is simply absorbed. The body does not need to break down liquids in the way that it breaks down foods. It is also stated that drinking water with meals will aid in the process of digestion and this is especially crucial when one is consuming large amounts of food.
