How many households own a computer?

The office for National Statistics (ONC) released a report mentioning that three-quarters of households in the United Kingdom own a personal computer at their homes, and nearly the same numbers of people have an access to the Internet. The recent survey by the ONC gave the detailed statistics over the same. It said that between 2008 and 2009, there was only three per cent increase in computer ownership whereas the rise in internet connection was five per cent.
