How to Wrap a Broken Toe?

Answer

When a broken toe occurs, a doctor will wrap it to prevent further damage. Like a broken finger, the toe must be immobilized. To this end the doctor places a hard plastic or metal splint around the toe. The toe is then wrapped with medical tape to secure it in place. This stops the patient for being able to bend the toe. In some cases, the toe may be wrapped against the toe next to it for added security.
