Multiple Tumors in Body?

Answer

When multiple tumors are present in the body, the term multiple myeloma is used. Multiple myeloma is a rare form of cancer characterized by excessive production and the improper function of plasma cells found in the bone marrow. These plasma cells eventually mass together to form tumors in various parts of the body. Plasma cells are a key component of the immune system and secrete myeloma proteins. Overproduction of these cells results in abnormally high levels of these proteins within the body.
