My Chicken Is Bleeding from Her Bum?

Answer

A chicken bleeding from her bum/vent is a serious issue and the bird should be taken to a vet as soon as possible. The bleeding might be as a result of egg binding, whereby an egg gets trapped in the chicken and blocks the vent. This can be treated using medicines provided by the vet, or by surgery in extreme cases.
