The term, 'vigor' refers to mental or physical strength, force, or energy which can be obtained through diet and exercise. In order to feel healthy mentally and physically, one must stay active and eat well. If one were to sit all day long, and eat everything they wanted, they would most likely feel unhappy with themselves and lose motivation or get depressed.
