Pelvocaliectasia?

Answer

Pelvocaliectasia is when your renal glands are swollen for no known reason. Kidney tests are often run to determine the function of the glands. Pelvocaliectasia is the same thing as pelvocaliectasis. It can be seen on a ultrasound of the kidney. The renal pelvis is the area that collects urine in the kidney, and when it is swollen, it could be indicative of a blockage. However, if there is not a blockage, that is when a diagnosis of pelvocaliectasia is given.
