# Slovens Formula?

Sloven's formula is a way to figure out statistically how many people would participate in something. Say you were sending out a survey to 50 people and you will allow for a 1% margin of error, using this formula you would likely get a response from just under half of the people. The formula is n=N/1+Ne(squared) where n is the sample size, N is the population size, and e is the margin of error you are allowing.
