Timeline of Events in Beowulf?

Answer

Beowulf is the title of an Old English poem set in Scandinavia. The timeline of events in Beowulf begins when Beowulf, the hero of the Geats, comes to help Hrothgar, king of the Danes, whose hall has been attacked by Grendel. He kills Grendel and Grendel's mother attacks the hall and is defeated, too. Beowulf returns to Sweden and becomes king of Geats. Fifty years pass and he beats a dragon, but is wounded fatally. After his death, he is buried in a tumulus in Geatland.
