Types of Nerves?

Answer

There are different types of nerves. Nerves are a group of neurons that carry messages to and from the central nervous system such as the brain and spinal cord The nerves comprise the peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system and peripheral nervous system are called the nervous system. The two main types of nerves are the afferent nerves and the efferent nerves. Afferent nerves carry messages from parts of the body such as the muscles, skin, and heart to the brain for processing. Efferent nerves carry messages from the brain to parts of the body such as the stomach, muscles, and glands.
