Types of Nuclear Change?

Answer

Nuclear fusion and nuclear fission are the two type if nuclear change. Splitting the the nucleus occurs with nuclear fission which results in a loss of mass. New elements are formed in nuclear fusion. Examples for a fusion reaction would be a hydrogen bomb and and an atomic bomb would have a fission chain reaction. As far as energy, nuclear fusion is a better energy source but is still being researched and may take many years to reap the benefits.
