Poor theatre is a concept that stared with Jerzy Grotowsky where by the voice and the body skills of the actor were the main spectacle on stage. He got rid of the theatrical devices such as lights, sound and costume that overshadowed the actor's performance hence creating the relationship between the audience and the actor that was missing.
