Metamerism?

Answer

Metamerism is a linear sequence of body segments basically similar in arrangement, though not all such arrangements are completely alike in any single life form as some of them carry out special functions. Metamerism can as well be referred to as the tendency for colour to move in tone as it is observed under diverse lighting conditions.
