The difference between LCD and Led TV is that as of 2011, LED televisions are about 50% more than LCD televisions. However, the price gap is narrowing. An LED TV uses light emitting diodes hence creates a much more vibrant and colourful image compared to an LCD screen.
The main difference between the LCD and led TV is that LCD TVs are flat panel TVs that utilise the technology of Liquid Crystal Display and its source of light is fluorescent lamps. On the other hand, the LED TVs are similar to the LCD TVs in that they are flat screened but and utilise Liquid Crystal display technology but their source of light are light emitting diodes.
