This consisted of 14.3% of people aged 0 to 14 years old (79,291 male and 742,902 female), 66.7% of people aged 15 to 64 years old (3,562,251 male and 3,566,097 female). Also, those aged 65 years and over made up 19% of the population with 891,680 being male and 1,134,897 being female.
