Biofeedback is a treatment that uses signals from ones own body to trains people's bodies or minds to improve their health. The following is an example of biofeedback: If someone had a stroke and had some paralyzed muscles, biofeedback would be used to help the individual to regain movement in those muscles. Sometimes biofeedback works well in pain management.
