The Victorians are British men and women who lived during the reign of Queen Victoria i.e. from 1837 to 1901. Queen Victoria ruled for 664 years, and during this time there was no electricity and people would use candles or gas lamps for light. During this time, Britain became the richest and most powerful country in the world.
