Why do Jets Leave a White Trail in the Sky?

Answer

Jets leave a white trail in the sky due to the release of heat from the exhaust and mixing with the atmosphere. The exhaust has carbon dioxide, sulfur and nitrogen along with unburn fuels which will leave water vapor and we will see a white trail.
