Rejection hurts so much because nobody likes to feel like nobody want's them. It is completely normal to feel that way but time will heal.It can steam from something from childhood that might need healing.

In my experience, rejection hurts so much because it makes us feel unsure about ourselves. Being rejected makes us question why anyone would like us. It hurts our vision of our self. But, if it makes you feel any better, everyone gets rejected. It hurts all of us the same.
